Mark Cohen

Late in 2007, Mark co-founded The Condo Store Marketing Systems and today assumes the role of Managing Partner. His sole focus is on new project marketing. Prior to that, Mark had spent the past 25 years in executive marketing positions with four of the largest and most reputable firms in Toronto, marketing many of Toronto’s most significant communities.

Since the foundation of TCS Marketing Systems 7 years ago, Mark has earned huge praise from the most important voice, our clients’. With an enviable client base, Mark personally manages an average of ten to fifteen projects at any time.

Mark promotes a family culture within The Condo Store team. Employing very strong, well-compensated sales and support staff, Mark is driven not by being the biggest in the business, but rather the best. With several examples of selling faster and for more money than the competition, Mark continues in many ways to act as the developer’s ‘VP of Sales and Marketing’, heavily influencing all planning, design, marketing and sales initiatives.

The sales results do not lie, Mark’s commitment to teamwork and a 52-week a year approach to sales strategy are what keeps the firm’s clients hiring us back again and again. The firm has now reached the pinnacle of $1.5 Billion in transacted real estate and an average of 1,000 sales per annum.

At Bramalea Limited from 1982-1994, he marketed thousands of condominiums and homes from one of the city’s premier developers at that time. Among many achievements, Mark oversaw the marketing of the Renaissance Plaza at Avenue Road and Bloor, the first condominium to achieve $300 per square foot pricing in the city. Mark initiated the concept of outside broker co-operation from the outset of a presale project, a concept that is now standard in the industry.

At Menkes Developments, from 1994-1999, as VP of Sales and Marketing, Mark oversaw the sale of over 4,000 condominiums, and helped leverage the Menkes brand, resulting in huge volumes and margins at above market prices.

Mark was the inaugural VP of Sales and Marketing at Concord Adex Developments and spent almost 5 years there starting in the spring of 1999. Responsible for the marketing of CityPlace, Toronto’s largest ever master planned community, he oversaw the completion of 9 towers and 1 loft building, Mark spent over 4 years at Tribute Communities, the country’s second largest homebuilder, as VP of Marketing and Sales. Over 5,000 sales were achieved at above market prices spanning 22 different communities. Mark also received a major individual award; the GTHBA’s Riley Brethour Award for consistent excellence in sales and marketing and contribution to the industry over time.
