t has taken little time for Kawhi Leonard to become a legend in Toronto. His skill on the court has undeniably taken the Raptors to new heights and the city is on a high from the energy that the NBA superstar has brought to the team. However, Toronto knows all too well that come July 1, 2019, Kawhi Leonard will once again be a free agent. It seems like everyone in the city is now participating in a collective effort to keep the all-star in the 6ix.
Simon Mass, CEO of The Condo Store Realty Inc. is prepared to gift Leonard a multi-million-dollar penthouse in downtown Toronto if the player agrees to re-sign with the Raptors. A representative for the brokerage confirmed to Narcity that Kawhi will get to choose between several lavish penthouse condos at the Four Seasons, St. Regis or Carlton Residences in Toronto.
Here’s what his options look like:
“We want to do what we can to ensure that our MVP stays in Toronto where he is loved and respected for being the ‘best of the best’ for the basketball-loving public of Toronto and Canada,” Mass said to Narcity.
“We are throwing everything we have at The Condo Store to show Kawhi how much we appreciate his efforts to date and his future commitment to Canada’s only NBA franchise,” he continued.
NBA Analyst Pete Yannopoulos reported last year that Leonard has actually bought a home in Toronto, giving Raptors fans all kinds of hope that the player has already made moves to stay put.
While details about his Toronto home are limited, his off-season LA residence is a $13.3 million palace fit for an NBA legend:

This isn’t the only sweet deal that the player has been offered if he agrees to stay in Toronto. Last week saw the launch of the Ka ’wine & Dine Initiative, which encourages restauranteurs around the city to bribe Kawhi with free food for life.
To participate, restaurants can print a badge that will be displayed in their window, indicating that Kawhi can eat free for life in their establishment if he decides to re-sign with the team.
Bar Hop Bar, Le Sélect Bistro, Moo Frites, and Rodney’s Oyster House are just a few local restaurants that have signed on to the effort.
